Tragedy strikes family

NZPA Sydney A couple have had to cut short a visit to New Zealand after hearing of the death of their son,, the third of their children to die tragically in less than four years. Noel and Bonnie Aisbett, both aged 57, of the Sydney suburb of Coogee, were on holiday to help them get over the death of their

daughter, Julianne, in November, when they heard that their son, Peter, aged 29, fell from a waterfall to his death in Darwin. Mr Aisbett said that the first tragedy occurred in July, 1978, when their son Paul, aged 27, was killed when a trail bike he was riding hit a tree. Their daughter, Julianne, aged 23, had gone to the United States with her hus-

band of 18’months and was killed when a gun she was holding went off. The final tragedy occurred recently when Peter Aisbett, who was the medical director of the Casuarina Hospital in Darwin, was climbing a waterfall with friends. He slipped and fell to his death on rocks below. The three are survived by their sister, Narelle, who is 33.
