PA Wellington Wellington members of Skybus dipped into their pockets on Tuesday to give their parent Aqua Avia Society a vote of confidence for the future.

About 45 Skybus members; meeting in the Wellington Town Hall, approved a suggestion that all paid-up life members give $2O each to help the society clear its debts; and that all other members pay a $2O subscription for the new financial year. The money will go into a trust fund, and will be used only if it is certain Aqua

Avia can survive its financial difficulties, said the secre-tary-treasurer, Mr Brian Shackleton.

Asked' what had happened to the millions of dollars invested by members, a board member, Mr Parsons said that for every dollar raised, 49c had gone on procuring that dollar (through advertising and commission), 16c had gone on office.and administration costs, 8c on sales, and 37c on the abortive attempt to set up an airline.
