Seniors open golf
Seniors golf — an established and popular circuit in the United States — will have its introduction in New Zealand next week. The New Zealand Broadlands Seniors Open will be held at Taupo from March 9 to 11, with prize money of $2OOO.
The event, to be decided i over 54 holes of stroke play, i is open to all golfers over the \ age of 55 years and with ) handicaps not exceeding nine. ■ The field will be limited to : 120 and a pro-am will ' precede the tournament. ;
