Special correspondent Dunedin Queen’s Pal will be expected to make a bold bid to win when having her first start in the Riccarton Stud Handicap for two-year-olds at the Hororata meeting at Riccarton on Saturday. A grand type of filly by Palatable from the good race mare, Lomond Queen. Queen’s Pal is unbeaten in three starts at trials, and she won easily over 800 m at Wingatui on Monday.
