Market remains firm

The New Zealand sharemarket continued firmer yesterday. Most of the price changes were by second-line stocks, with leading shares more prominent among the falls. Retailers were in demand led by DIC which gained 10c to 180 c. Stocks associated, with the pastoral industry fared less well; Allied Farmers lost 10c to 440 c in spite of a dividend increase.
