The principal nurse of Templeton Hospital, Mr David Shephard, meets his parents, Mr Graham and Mrs Dinah Shephard, of Swansea, Wales, for the first time in 23 years. The couple, who flew out from Wales for the reunion, had not met David’s Greymouth-born wife, Diane, and their grandchildren, Stephen, aged 17, and Sonya, aged 14, until they landed at Christchurch International Airport. During his parents’ visit, David and his wife plan to take them on an extensive trip around the South Island.
