S.I. Corgi championship
The South Island Welsh Corgi League's Twentieth Championship Show, held at McLeans Island on February 7. attracted 172 entries this year. The show was judged by Mrs Margaret Sturgeon, a Corgi specialist from the United States. Results were: Best in Show: Mr and Mrs B. R. Hyde. Revelmere Cock-a-Hoop. Reserve best in show: Mr and Mrs B. R. Hyde, Stormwey Anton. Bitch challenge: Mr and-Mrs B. R. Hyde, Stormwey Holly. Best puppy in show:- Mr and Mrs B. R. Hyde. Stormwey Azaria. Best junior in show: Mr and Mrs
B. R. Hyde, Stormwey Rozanne. Best intermediate in show: Miss M. Wemham, Goldacre’s Minuet. Best limit in show: Mr and Mrs B. R. Hyde, Stormwey Rozanne. Best New Zealand bred in show: Mr and Mrs B. R. Hyde, Stormwey Anton. Best veteran in show: Mrs M. Thompson. Anania of Kinleith. Best novice in show: Mr and Mrs B. R. Hyde, Stormwey Azaria. Best major puppy in show: Mr and Mrs R. D. Maxwell. Melandar Marlito. Best minor puppy in show: Mr and Mrs B. R. Hyde, Stormwey Azaria. Best baby puppy in show: Mr and Mrs B. R. Hyde, Stormwey Paddy. ■
