However, the fruit will be large-sized and demand was strong in all markets. The message from the United Kingdom was typical of that coming from almost
every market, said, the authority’s publicity and promotion executive, Mr John O’Hara. Sales there last season doubled and importers were confident they could sell between 25 and 50 per cent -more in the coming season. " ‘The Germans, are confident they can sell, more than? we can Supply, and the Japanese want more than we can send,” Mr O’Hara said. ‘‘This will be a season , for consolidation ready for the big jump from 6M to betweenSM and 10M in : the following year." \
