The ‘killer’ whale
Sir —1 find the logic of E. Webster's letter (February 12) rather perplexing. ‘My interpretation of the photo is that
trthe . whale. , merely had its mouth open. If, as E. Webster suggests, the whale was "actually smiling," does it follow that a cat- with an upraised paw wishes to shake hands? My dog does not share such logic, and she is as intelligent as a whale—Yours, etc., KAREN G. SPELLERBERG. February 12, 1982.
