Hijacker arrested, freed

A West Berlin magistrate issued a formal arrest warrant againt a Polish airline pilot who diverted his plane to West-Berlin oh Friday, but then' released him, a city Justice Ministry spokesman said. “
The examining magistrate allowed .the pilot .and another man? named in the warrant, and described variously as a cousin and a friend, to remain:? free so long .as they immediately reported any change of address, the spokesman said. The pilot .diverted the Antonov'24 plane of the Polish State airline. Lot, ,to the American military air base of Tempelhof while on an internal flight from Warsaw to Wroclaw with 23 people on board.
The passengers included the wives and three, children of the pilot and the second man,? -/-, ■
