Shock results in F.A. Cup round
NZPA-Reuter London The English Football Association Cup has a history of shock results, but Saturday's stunning defeats of Liverpool and Ipswich bv second division opponents stand comparison with anything in the last 101 years of the competition. The European champion. Liverpool, unbeaten away from home since September, crashed 0-2 at Chelsea while Ipswich suffered a humiliating 2-1 defeat bv Shrewsbury, languishing in seventeenth place in division two. Liverpool, so dominant in recent weeks, was always struggling after falling behind to an eighth-minute goal by the Chelsea wing. Peter Rhoades-Brown.
