the scene, with fire engines ■ from New Brighton. St J Albans. Woolston and I Sumner. The first alarm came at | 3.17 p.m. The fire was under ! control by 5 p.m. but. firemen | remained’ at the scene until i. late last evening to guard ! against further outbreaks.
