Aide leaves
An aide of President Reagan, Joseph Canzeri, has abruptly resigned after saying he twice submitted bills to the White House and Republican National Committee for the same trips and accepted a low-interest mortgage from Laurence Rocke-
feller and a California developer. Mr Canzeri said the double billing had been an accident. He defended the loan as proper. Mr Canzeri, whose office was only steps away from the Oval Office, was a little-known presidential assistant who handled the details of White House ceremonies and presidential travel.—Washington.
