Taxman to be consultant
PA Wellington The retiring Commissioner of Inland Revenue, Mr R. T. Phillips, plans to set himself up as a private consultant but says his loyalties to the department will continue. . “I won’t be helping people to avoid their tax obligations — I don’t want to be in that sort of thing.” he said.
Mr Phillips will retire on Wednesday.
