UNIVERSITY OF CANTERBURY ENROLMENT 1982 (1) PRE-ENROLMENT: Pre-enrolment forms are no longer being accepted and students who have not pre-enrolled by the due date will be required to pay a fee of $4O when they enrol. This fee may be refunded subsequently is satisfactory written evidence of inability to pre-enrol is produced. A penalty fee of $4O will be charged (see above) and completion of enrolment may be delayed until processing is complete. Students who fail to complete enrolment by the correct time may enrol at the Registry from Tuesday, March 2, on payment of a late fee of $2O. (5) FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS: Students enrolling at a New Zealand University for the first time MUST bring with them evidence, in writing, that they have—(l) Obtained the New Zealand University Entrance Certificate, or (2) Been granted admission "ad eundem” by the University Grants Committee, or (3) Been granted admission “ad eundem’’ by the University of Canterbury, or (4) Been granted "special admission” by the University of Canterbury. Also, if applying for a bursary: (5) Obtained Higher School Certificate, or (6) Obtained Sixin Form Certificate, or (7) Obtained Bursary or Scholarship examinations. (6) TRANSFERS FROM ANOTHER NEW ZEALAND UNIVERSITY: The enrolment of such students is provisional until their records are received from their previous University by the Registrar and found to be satisfactory. Students who have been declined enrolment in a previous University, or in any Department or Faculty of that University, or who are automatically debarred from re-enrolling, will not be enrolled at the University of Canterbury (Page 33, 1982 University Calendar).
