Vacation dividend increased
PA Auckland Vacation Hotels, Ltd, the Auckland-based hotel proprietor is raising dividend lc after reporting a 63.43 per cent jump in unaudited consolidated tax-paid profit to $1,552,671 for the 12 months to October 31. Interim dividend has been set at 7.5 c a share (15 per cent), lc above last year’s sole dividend and will be payable at the end of February from revenue reserves.
Shares are ex dividend on February 18. No tax was paid ($45,900 the previous year) and the latest result comes after depreciation of $781,910 ($650,881). There were no extraordinary items ($57,459). The balance date of the company is being changed to March 31 and the next published accounts will be for the 17 month period to March 31.
