Solution to airline split?
PA Auckland The Airline Pilots’ Association hopes it has found a solution to the split among Air New Zealand pilots as a result of a meeting last evening. The association has come up with proposals which it feels will settle. the difference between its members who fly Air New Zealand’s internal routes and inter-
national pilots who have resigned from the body. The president of the association. Captain W. E. Startup, said the breakaway pilots would be given until February 21 to study the proposals. He said he believed the association had reached a compromise with the pilots and a return to the status quo would follow.
