Juanita home
Greymouth reporter
The Sydney ketch Juanita arrived back in its home port on Wednesday afternoon after an 11-day crossing of the Tasman Sea from Greymouth.
The vessel ran aground in Smoothwater Bay, South Westland, over five weeks ago, and later its owner, Mr Tony Huxley, flew to New Zealand to reclaim it. He and another companion were joined by three young Greymouth men for the return voyage to Sydney. One of the Greymouth men, Mr Keith Wilson, telephoned his mother on Wednesday night with the news of the arrival.
