Lightning strikes golfers
NZPA-Reuter Johannesburg Two British golfers. lan Mosey and Tony Bennett, were struck by lightning during an international tournament yesterday. Both Mosey, who was on the fourteenth fairway, and Bennett, on the tenth green.
escaped injury but had their umbrellas hurled several metres from their hands by the force of the shock. A local amateur. Paul Van Zyl. held the lead after the first round of the $48,000 tournament, the fifth on the Sunshine Circuit, with a seven under par 65.
