San Simeon withdrawn

NZPA Perth The West Australian champion, San Simeon, and Koala King, from New South Wales, were among 14 pacers scratched yesterday from the 1982 Inter-Dominion Championship series in Perth next month. Koala King will be retired to stud. San Simeon’s trainer, Lou Austin, said the horse would be on a plane to the United States for. the World Cup series ’when the InterDominion Final was being run.

The promising New Zealand entire, Te Puke Expects, and the exciting Tasmanian, Prancing Percy, were other favoured horses withdrawn when first forfeiture closed. It is understood that Prancing Percy’s connections wanted to allow him another year to develop before putting him into such a demanding series. The New Zealandtrained Vitaman was also withdrawn.
