Tudor Free, Same Image and Keen Lynette all scored impressive wins over 560 m at the Christchurch Greyhound Racing Club’s penalty bearing meeting at Queen Elizabeth II Park on Monday evening.
. ._ , . Tudor Free (Busy s Chief— Inastree) was regarded as an unlueky runner m the clubs $5OO maiden feature last month when he had the misfortune to turn in the boxes. After this lapse the sturdy dog. owned and trained by Graeme Buchanan, made much ground and received compensation for that luckless run with an effortless victory on Monday. Slightly slow to’ clear the
boxes, he was quickly in touch with the pace and soon asserted his superiority, clocking a sizzling 34.64 s as he strode to a six-length victory over Bright Verna. Same Image (No Pardons—Del Pandora) recorded
an impressive 34.82 s in the other maiden middle-dis-fance event, leading throughQUt t 0 win b eight ]eng ths. Keen Lynette was only re quired to run 35.31 s in the class 1 560 m contest, but the manner in which the Call Me Hobbs—l’m A Smoothie bitch dashed past her rivals was most decisive, The 330 m events were won by Pacemaker Two (class 1), Hokere Prince (class 1). and Milladine Lass (class 0).
