No plea by driver
PA Auckland A man entered no plea when he appeared in the District' Court at Otahuhu after an accident at Papatoetoe in which a man and his young daughter were injured. Tony Williams, aged 32, a storeman of Mangere, was charged with causing bodily injury to Misty Tania Grace, aged three, and Jack Grace, by dangerous driving on Swaffield Road.
He was also charged with failing to stop to ascertain injury after his car was involved in an accident, and driving without a licence. Williams was remanded on $lOOO bail with a $lOOO surety to March 1 by Judge Gillies. The police opposed bail.
