Regional planning estimate
Canterbury planning would cost local bodies $615,700 next year — a 10.3 per cent increase under a United Council regional planning committee recommendation this week.
The district's per capita contribution would be $1.83 for such planning activities, compared with $1.64 during the present financial year. Planning contributions sought froth local councils would include $300,589 from Christchurch City ($277,788 this - year). $128,745 from Waimairi' County ($114,856), $58,255 froitf Paparua County ($52,506). arid $16,151 front Heathcote County ($14,538). Contributions are made on a population basis.
