Smoke-free zone?
NZPA Sydney New Zealand's World Cup soccer team may have to declare itself a “Smoke-free Zone" if it wants to meet Scotland on even terms. For the Scottish team will be promoted as "The NoSmoking Team" in the World Cup after receiving sponsorship from the Scottish Health Education Group. The World Health Organisation said it had com-
mended the Scottish Football Association for its participation as the "non-smoking" team in the 1982 World Cup. New Zealand's DirectorGeneral of Health and chairman of the W.H.O. executive board. Dr John Hiddlcstone. strongly supported the Scottish initiative and jokingly hoped that the dear lungs would not give the Scot's too great an advantage when they met New Zealand in Spain.
