Morrison moves
John Morrison left Wellington in style in Saturday's Shell Cup final. Morrison, who capped 14 seasons with Wellington — during which he scored a record number of runs for the province — by also leading it to a Shell Trophy senes victory, is to shift to Greytown, in the Wairarapa. managing director for a new company manufacturing and marketing cricket bats and other equipment for Duncan Fearnley. of Worcester. Mr Fearnley said he was very excited at the prospect of setting up a new branch of his company in New Zealand. “Cricket is'experiencing a real boom around the world at present. I have only recently returned from a tour of Australia. New Zealand and South Africa and have never seen interest in the game higher. "It really is very exciting for the future." r
