Malaysia’s Deputy Minister of' Defence. Mr Abang Abu Bakar. has left Kuala Lumpur for a two-week official visit to Australia and New Zealand.
The Defence Ministry said the Deputy Minister would be in Australia until February 15. and would meet Australia's Deputy Prime Minister (Mr Douglas Anthony) the Foreign Minister (Mr TonyStreet) the Defence Minister (Mr James Killen), and other Government and militaryofficials.
The Ministry said Mr Abang Abu Bakar would then travel to New Zealand for talks with the Minister of Defence (Mr Thomson) and other leaders.
