Four youths arrested
Blenheim reporter Four Christchurch youths were arrested by the Blenheim police on Friday night after a butcher's van had been reported unlawfully taken from Kaikoura.
When they were apprehended in the Dashwood Pass area, goods believed tp be from a North Island burglary, were found in the vehicle.
The youths all appeared in the District Court at Blenheim on Saturday. Two, one aged 14 and the other 16, were remanded to appear in the Children and Young Persons Court at Christchurch tomorrow. The other two. both aged 19. will appear in court at Blenheim tomorrow.
