PA Blenheim The Amberley driver. Miss K. L. McCormick was suspended up to and including February 20 at the Marlborough Trotting Club’s meeting at Blenheim yester-
day. Miss McCormick, the driver of Johnny Bee in the Lowe Memorial, was found to have caused interference to Rustic Sun (J. B. Noble) 200 m after the start.
M. A. Pash, the Richmond trainer driver was fined $l5O after the Grenfelt Motel Handicap. Pash, the driver of Lord Thorpe, was found guilty of careless driving in that he allowed his horse to strike the wheel of Aran Hunter near the 1800 m mark.
Lord Thorpe fell heavily and brought down Timely Frost while Hindu Abbe was badly checked and pulled up. The Rolleston trainer, Ray Morris, was suspended up to and including February 17 after the Top Spot Handicap. Morris, the driver of Master Tuft, was found guilty of causing interference to Geranee with approximately 600 m to run.
