The tax-paid profit of i Repco New Zealand, Ltd, ' motor parts distribution, rose i 17.7 per cent to $612,538 in ; the six months ended Decemi ber 31 compared with the j same period a year earlier. I Unaudited trading profit I for the period was $1,263,825 (last year $1,015,997) from which was deducted $590,747 I ($441,513) for tax provision. I and $60,540 ($54,125) for j minority interests, leaving a I tax-paid profit of $612,538 - ($520,359) for the half year. i The chairman (Mr F. L. I Parkin) said that all com- ■ panies within the group l traded satisfactorily with the I exception of Repco Fuel ' Equipment. Ltd. which was I adversely affected by the ' Government's alternative fuel conversion programme i falling far short of its stated ; objectives.
