Girl killed as car rolls
PA Palmerston North A Wairarapa girl died after the car in which she was a passenger skidded in loose shingle and rolled over on Saturday afternoon. She was Tammi Riria Hakaria, aged 4, of Pongaroa. The Pahiat.ua police said the accident happened about 1 p.m., about 6.5 km west of Pongaroa, on the Pongaroa-to-Pahiatua road.
No-one else was injured in the accident.
