Stolen goods recovered
Christchurch detectives recovered a haul of stolen goods in the city last evening. The haul included five, antique clocks, an antique chest, jewellery, radios, and other antique items. The value of the goods was not known last evening. The police' believed the goods had been stolen in house burglaries during the last few months. People who had lost such goods were asked to get in touch with Detective W. R. Mitchell or Detective Sergeant D. M. Quested at the Central Police Station today. ■
No arrests had been made in connection with recovery, but inquiries were continuing. »,
