Rescuers in trouble
PA Auckland A Naval liberty launch ran aground on Western Bastion reef in Auckland harbour yesterday afternoon after going to the rescue of three people in a yacht. The launch was called out to help a small yacht which capsized off Mission Bay. The yacht’s occupants were brought back to shore in a runabout and the police launch Deodar towed their swamped boat back to shore.
