The second day of the four-day South Island under-15 girls’ softball tournament was played at Porritt Park. Christchurch, on Tuesday .
Results were:—Southland 10. Eastern Southland 8; Canterbury 12, Central Otago 1; Mid/Canterbury 19. Otago 14: Eastern Southland 29. South Otago 8: Southland, 21. Central Otago 18; Canterbury 22. Mid-Canterbury 1. Points: Canterbury. Southland. 8; Eastern Southland 6.
Player of the Day: Diane Beattie (Mid-Canterbury).
