New ‘topless’ Jaw
Sir.—Of course. ", . . if enough women did it (walking around topless) people simply wouldn’t notice” (Mrs Pat Wilkinson. “The Press,” January 19) just as we are not really noticing adultery, divorce, and bearing children outside me stable marriage partnership. Are these the conditions we really want around us for our children and ourselves? Will they grow into balanced, responsible, secure adults? Society is rotting before our eyes and we are allowing it. What sinks to gutter level inevitably goes down the drain. — Yours, etc., BRIDGET S. STEYN. January 19, 1982.
