1800 kahawai tagged
PA Nelson The tagging of Kahawai in Tasman Bay by a Ministry of Agriculture’ and Fisheries team has been highly successful. according to a. Nelson scientist Mr Mike Bradstock. Since New Year's Day 1800 Kahawai had been tagged to trace their migration and the tagging had stopped while the fisheries team waited for more tags to arrive from the United States.
