David Walsh will travel from the North Island to ride at the Greymouth Jockey Club’s meeting today.
His mounts in four of the 'key" races on the programme are prepared by his old boss, the Ashburton trainer. Jim Lalor. They are Gay Mark in the second Tourist Trail Handicap. first leg of the T.A.B. treble. Sir James in the Radio Scenicland Handicap.

trained hopeful for the first leg of today's T.A.B. treble, cleared maiden ranks at Kumara last Saturday. Smokeaway did not look far off winning form when fifth at Kumara. and he might be the stumbling block for Actress and company over 2000 m in the Vacationland Handicap today.
