N.Z. Steel loses 8c
Falls outnumbered rises more than two to one on a quiet New Zealand sharemarket yesterday. The N.Z.U.C. industrial index lost 5.26 points to close at 700.08. Among the market leaders. New Zealand Steel lost Bc. and Fletcher Challenge and N.Z. Forest Products fell 4c each. Going against the easy trend were Mair. Mount Cook, and Waitaki N.Z. Refrigerating. Computer Consultants and MSI Corporation eased under profit-taking after making gains in previous-sessions.
