Over the next few years, this network will be dramatically expanded to include nearly 2000 terminals. All of these terminals will be latest technology, microcomputer based and controlled from one of three regional computer sites. Some 800 of these terminals will be mobile and used only on racecourses, the remainder will be permanently installed in TAB presmies.
