Air N.Z. sells Boeing 737
PA Auckland Air New Zealand has sold one of its Boeing 737 s to an
American agent for an undisclosed price. However, the aircraft will be flown in Mauritania, West Africa, and an Air New Zealand crew is expected to make the delivery in February. The aircraft is one of the airline’s oldest 737 s and was bought second-hand in the early 19705.
The sale is part of an ongoing replacement scheme for the domestic jets. A new passenger-cargo aircraft will be delivered late next year.
