A little light relief on the last day of the school year was provided for these Standard 4 pupils at Fendalton school when MaryAnne Simpson (kneeling), aged 10, brought to school the doll’s house her father is building. Mr Allan Simpson started building the nineteenth century, two-storey cottage in October, 1980, and there is still more work to be done. The roof of the cottage is made from 1400 sandpaper tiles.
