The successful applicant will participate in a project concerned with the isolation of extracellular vesicles from blood vessel walls and the role of these vesicles in atherosclerosis. It is expected that the appointee will be a science graduate with a sound biochemical knowledge. The position is financed by a.grant from the National Heart Foundation of New Zealand. The appointment is for 1 year in the first instance, with the possibility of continuation. The salary will be on the University of Otago Scientific Officer scale.
