TRAINING OFFICER APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED for the position of Training Officer to service all South Island dairy companies. This newly created position offers a four year contract under the supervision of the New Zealand Dairy Industry Training Council. It is anticipated that the Training Officer will be based in Christchurch but will be required to travel extensively to liaise with all South Island dairy companies. This liaison will involve working with dairy company management and helping to define the training needs of company personnel and to help implement company training programmes. This position requires a person with a high level of communication skills, demonstrated sound organisational abilities and should be able to work without supervision. It is envisaged that the successful applicant will have a sound knowledge of training principles (preferably industry based). A knowledge of the dairy industry would be beneficial. An attractive remuneration package is offered. This will include a company car and appropriate travelling allowances.
