Assistant Personnel Manager TRAINING LOCATION: Nauru Island. Central Pacific. THE COMPANY: The Nauru Phosphate Corporation was formed by the Republic of Nauru to develop the phosphate deposits on the Island. THE POSITION: The Corporation is seeking the services of an experienced Training Officer who is prepared to accept the challenge df establishing and administering technical and professional courses within an industry located in a young republic in the Pacific region. Major duties will include: • Developing opportunities for training within this Corporation: • Encouraging the Nauruan population to enter training programs: • Liaising with Corporation staff on training of trainees. The successful applicant will have received a good general education and have received specialist training from some recognised professional training institution.' SALARY: Commencing salary within the range $A10.216-$A11.352 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience), tax free on Nauru, plus Island allowance of SASOO p.a. for single, SA9OO p.a. for married persons.
