HEATHCOTE COUNTY COUNCIL REFUSE COLLECTION THE FOLLOWING shall apply for Household Refuse Collections over the period December 24, 1981 to January 7, 1982: Refuse normally collected on Mondays and Wednesdays shall be collected on Wednesdays. Refuse normally collected on Fridays and Tuesdays shall be collected on Tuesdays. Refuse normally collected on Thursdays shall be collected on Thursdays. NORTH CANTERBURY CATCHMENT BOARD AND REGIONAL WATER BOARD WIND EROSION CONTROL FARMERS ARE REMINDED that planning for shelter planting in the 1982 season should begin now. The board is able to offer advice and assistance in planning, establishment and management of windbreaks to prevent soil erosion and loss of soil moisture. Schemes approved by the Board may be eligible for financial assistance on ground preparation, tree stocks, planting, protection fencing and vegetation control. To enable field inspection and plan preparation, applications for assistance must be received by the Board prior to February 19, 1982.
