No. 437 Memorial Avenue, Fendalton, a 12-year-old, split-level, brick house on a 1012 sq m section, was passed in at auction at $126,000 on Thursday. The government valuation (1980) is $BB,OOO. The house has four double bedrooms, central heating, and garaging for three cars. The garden is private and well-established, and the property is in good condition, according to the auctioneer, Mr H. The land, which is on a renewable lease, is flat but is slightly terraced to the banks of the Waitohi River. At present the property runs 1950 mixed age Corriedale ewes and 650 Border cross ewe hoggets. The auctioneer was Mr W. R. Flanagan, of Matson and Allan Real Estate, Ltd.

Westbrook, a 242 ha cropping, fattening and small seeds property in Frasers Road, Annat, was passed in at $1,080,000 at auction on Wednesday. Negotiations continued after the auction.
