No. 15 Te Awa Kura Terrace, St Andrew’s Hill, sold at auction on Monday for $60,000. The Government valuation (1979) is $37,500. The semi two storey, weatherboard house has a dining room and lounge with tiled fireplaces, two bedrooms, one with a hand basin, and a basement, as well as a garage. The section is 809 sq m and is just off the flat land. Mr P. T. Battersby of Ford and Hadfield was the auctioneer.
A small, one bedroom, weatherboard cottage at 36 Kensington Avenue, St Albans, sold at auction on Monday for $28,500. The G.V. (1979) is $19,000. The house, which is 60 years old has a large kitchen.

Mr P. J. Cook W. E. Simes and Company was the auctioneer.
