Theatre tour popular
About 700 people passed through the Theatre Royal yesterday during an open day. The main attractions were the dressing rooms improved at a cost of $50,000 to replace those which the British actor. Danny Kaye, called "toilets.” “Everybody has been impressed." said’Mr J. Allison, of the Friends of the Theatre Royal. Many people who went on the guided tours yesterday made favourable comments about the theatre. Several hundred dollars were raised to help pay for the renovations by a silver coin admission.
