Chch bowls success
- Christchurch representative bowls teams were successful on two fronts at the week-end. For the second successive year the senior team swept all before it at the. South . Island quadrangular tournament at Timaru and the junior team had a handsome 6-2 win against South Canterbury at Papanui. On Saturday Christchurch defeated South Canterbury (on countback) and yesterday morning it defeated Dunedin. 4Vz-3‘.'2. In the final round yesterday afternoon Christchurch beat North Otago. 5-3.
