Union to call nominations
The secretary of the Auckland branch of the Baking Trades Union, Mr lan McGovern, has been appointed acting national secretary of the Baking Trades Union, after the death recently of Mr T. A. Waters, of Christchurch. The union will call for nominations early next year for the post. Mr Waters was also secretary of the Canterbury branch of the union. Nominations will be called for that post at the branch’s next quarterly meeting, to be held this month.
