Talks on staggers
After the farm walk on the cropping farm at Lincoln College beginning at 1 p.m. next Tuesday there will be a session on ryegrass staggers in lecture room 3 in the Hilgendorf wing at the college. This session will begin at 4 p.m. and continue through to 6 p.m.
A review of the latest research on this problem gives a closer understanding of the possible causes. On the farm walk there will be discussions on stripe rust in wheat, direct drilling of wheat, Mata barley for seed and Maku lotus for seed and tick beans.
